FJ45

There are three versions of the FJ45 that were available in the United States. A long-bed pickup (LWB) is the most common, with a 4 door utility vehicle being somewhat less known (LV) and the short-bed pickup (SWB) being least common.

Long bed pickups were available with only a removable top. Short bed pickups were available with a removable top, or a fixed top version. The fixed top version had no windshield hinges, since the roof not being removable would consequently make folding down the windshield impossible. This also meant that the "tie-downs" for folding the windshield down onto the hood were not provided. The fixed top cannot be converted by adding hinges as the roof would interfere when the glass were leaned forward.
